The balloon, compressed into a capsule, can be swallowed with water. The capsule is large enough to be swallowed easily.
First, an X-ray is used to identify the balloon's position, and then it will be expanded with water using a thin, flexible tube.
After X-ray verification. The stomach is filled with water by inflating the balloon using a slim, flexible tube.
After 16 weeks, the balloon valve opens, and the balloon deflates. It exits the body naturally through the intestines.
